The Message of Green Front of Iran for the Closing Ceremony of
Caspian Beach Clearing Campaign.

My beloved countrymen,

In theses hot summer days there are heard some good news for the lovers of the environment of Iran ; some movements for cleaning of Caspian Beach are observed. A green wave intended to protect the environment is sweeping the country. As we have always mentioned the environmental problems are not solved without close cooperation of people and government and today we are fortunately observing such a cooperation at national scales. The positive response of local residents and authorities and also government agencies to the call of GFI indicates a brighter future for the environmentalists. Green Front of Iran warmly welcomes such a cooperation.

Our home country Iran has a very beautiful and rarely found nature. We live in a country where nature has been respected since the old time. Today we can preserve this divine treasure and hand it to the future generations only if we attempt hand in hand and all together.

Caspian Sea , this largest lake of the world is located on the north of Iran and is part of our civilization and natural assets. Due to careless over-consumption of the resources of this sea, it is now suffering form severe pollution and its contents of living creatures is decreasing and if it continues like that regional countries will get into unrecoverable disastrous situation. That is why Green Front of Iran is performing the Beach Clearing Campaign in order to raise more concern among the people of the region and of the world about the critical condition of this lake and its beach. We are proud to declare that we are coordinating the cleaning operation between 33 spots in the 3 coastal provinces of Guilan, Mazandaran and Golestan.
