Biodiversity Group

 

154 countries in Environmental and developing U.N Conference, which was held in January 1992 in Rio de Janeiro, signed Biodiversity Convention and subsequently they executed it in December 29, 1993.

 

GFI Biodiversity Group commenced to work with 8 members in March 21, 2000 and it continued its activity with 15 members in practice. A seminar was held by GFI under the name of Biodiversity in May 2000.

 

It has performed some activities since now like:

•  Searching plant and animal species in Iran, which are exposed to decline.

•  Considering various biome of Iran.

•  Notifying people about environmental dangers of species threat

•  And another activities regarding protect biome, fauna, and flora of Iran.

 

And also, this group thinks about the salvation of Iran's Biodiversity
